Building a Multiverse around Hindu Mythology

For those who are aware (and many of those who are not, don't fret awareness is just temporary) I am currently busy building a multiverse. A lot of questions were asked around my multiverse and I had to answer them at one point or the other. So here is a compilation of my thoughts (and a little bit of progress) around my multiverse. It might be a tiny bit of long post BUT towards the end I am leaving you with a bonus sneak peak of my Universe, don't miss it. If you do not know what a Multiverse is, Multiverse is basically a shared Universe where multiple characters live (not in harmony) and jump in and out of stories. For e.g., Incident happening in some story are refereed in another story sometimes via close related person or maybe through public medium. Designing a multiverse is a herculean task in itself for little little things matter in this universe. Like Harry Potter lives in his own Universe. It has its own Laws. The Central Theme of the Multiverse My mu...

[Short Story] The Story of the Goose

Uddhava knew this was the ending, this is it. After moving the people from Mathura and winning the war against Kaurava, karma had caught up with his old friend. The blood bath could not be stopped, Yadavas could not be saved. Two days ago, Uddhava was called upon by his cousin on the death bed, The chariot raced through the muddy streets towards vrindavan. On the back seat clutching tightly to his chest sat Uddhava. Nervous, worried and upset he didn’t know what lay ahead. Events flashed in front of his eyes of the bloodbath in his bellowed Dwarka. The entire Yadav clan was dead, with their own arrows. He though of the dying words of his old friend Krishna, ‘It’s over, my friend,’ Krishna had said as he rest his head on Uddhava thigh, ‘Time for me to leave the mortal world.’ ‘Don’t say this, brother,’ Uddhava smiled, ‘The vaidyas are trying their best to recover you. Do not worry.’ Krishna smiled, ‘they are bound by the physical realities of the mayavi world my friend, I a...

Of Baba's, Business and Bakwass!!!

Did you hear the story of the foreign atheist who once landed in India and after staying here for few days, immediately walked into the church to pray? When asked him what did he see in India, he replied, 'This is a country of 1200 million. No one has the slightest interest of improving it, developing it or even correcting it. They are divided on every issue in the country and every state you walk on has a different story. No one has a slightest idea what is happening in the 7 states in the country and every department has come up with a scam. Yet, this country has become the 5th largest economy in the world. Now, isn't that enough proof that God exists?' India is all that, every third person you bump on the road is a Godmen, reincarnation of a Godman or worst, God himself. The other two are his followers. Usually, I am an agnostic, its not that I do not or do believe in God, it is just that I don't care. I do what I want to do and let God do what he wants to do. But ...

Karma sutra: When the universe fucks you in more ways than you can count

We all live in a world full of karma, you eat ice cream without me and you catch a cold. Karma is simply universe giving you back what you deserve, but some people deserve it so hard that even the universe shudders punishing them. Human evolution is a constant reminder from the universe that she still holds a lot of power on reality. As we progress so increases the population of hypocrites and self-righteous people who believe that the entire world is part of their own crazy ideas. One person took a swig of smoke, 'Trouble at my house again man, my wife insist on working again, man, I don't understand. My mom wants her to stay home man, why can't she do it? Its not that we need money. Don't understand man.' The first person puffed a smoke, 'Yeah man, I can understand. Wife should take care of house. I completely sympathize with you.' Two days later, in their own team, a lady had to resign due to pressure from her inlaws, what was worst, it was very clo...
