Building a Multiverse around Hindu Mythology

For those who are aware (and many of those who are not, don't fret awareness is just temporary) I am currently busy building a multiverse. A lot of questions were asked around my multiverse and I had to answer them at one point or the other. So here is a compilation of my thoughts (and a little bit of progress) around my multiverse. It might be a tiny bit of long post BUT towards the end I am leaving you with a bonus sneak peak of my Universe, don't miss it. If you do not know what a Multiverse is, Multiverse is basically a shared Universe where multiple characters live (not in harmony) and jump in and out of stories. For e.g., Incident happening in some story are refereed in another story sometimes via close related person or maybe through public medium. Designing a multiverse is a herculean task in itself for little little things matter in this universe. Like Harry Potter lives in his own Universe. It has its own Laws. The Central Theme of the Multiverse My mu...

The End Is here!!!!

Cross posting from my other blog Halleluah!!!! Three years of writing effort, 80,000 words. First edit, 79,000 words (Doesn't seem a lot but trust me it is) Second edit, 67,000 words (Phew and getting rid of one of a nice piece which had dinosour in it. **Sulk**) And finally typing the two words that would perhaps make sense of it all. -- The End -- But then if only things were as simple in that crazy brain of mine, no they were not. So here is what I ended writing THE WORLD WAS NORMAL OR AS NORMAL AS IT POSSIBLY COULD BE. THIS WOULD BE THE TIME TO QUOTE A ‘THE END’ ON A BOOK BUT THEN IS IT? FOR WE KNOW WHAT HAPPENS NEXT DON’T WE?   TIME, AS THEY SAY, IS A FUNNY THING. IT WANTS US TO BELIEVE IT MOVES FORWARD BUT SNEAKILY MOVES IN ALL DIRECTIONS.   F INALLY, IT WAS NEVER ABOUT THE ENDING, IT WAS ALWAYS ABOUT THE JOURNEY. Is the end, perhaps not. But a three year effort is laudable. During these three years I.. Got married Moved city twice Went into ...

[Short Story] The Story of the Goose

Uddhava knew this was the ending, this is it. After moving the people from Mathura and winning the war against Kaurava, karma had caught up with his old friend. The blood bath could not be stopped, Yadavas could not be saved. Two days ago, Uddhava was called upon by his cousin on the death bed, The chariot raced through the muddy streets towards vrindavan. On the back seat clutching tightly to his chest sat Uddhava. Nervous, worried and upset he didn’t know what lay ahead. Events flashed in front of his eyes of the bloodbath in his bellowed Dwarka. The entire Yadav clan was dead, with their own arrows. He though of the dying words of his old friend Krishna, ‘It’s over, my friend,’ Krishna had said as he rest his head on Uddhava thigh, ‘Time for me to leave the mortal world.’ ‘Don’t say this, brother,’ Uddhava smiled, ‘The vaidyas are trying their best to recover you. Do not worry.’ Krishna smiled, ‘they are bound by the physical realities of the mayavi world my friend, I a...

Bottom line: Is there a opening in an asylum? A sneak peak into my novel, working notes. Comments?

Cosmic Cronicle Part II: The Journey into nothingness.

====================================================================== If you missed it before: Cosmic Chronicle Part I: A Small Bug. ====================================================================== I barely recall when I started my journey, was it yesterday? or just last week? I have already lost the track of time and I do not see the sun any more. The skies are scarred by the dense smog to see anything beyond it. I have finally managed to find a car in this wreak and am driving without any directions. I have filled it with radioactive isotope I collected from the atmosphere. I am just exploring, waiting for my death. Well, yes I am going to die, I am the last species of Homo Sapiens who populated the planet we called earth. My planet was destroyed by a small human error and now I stand on the threshold at the end of Humanity. So far, my journey is fruitless and I have found no one else except for few rats, who have grown bigger than a human house due to radiation. I am d...
